Quiet at the White's

There isn't much news to share these days. We have had a couple of days that seemed like spring, but lately we're back to 50's and rain and wondering if it will ever get warm. It makes it a little easier to be staying home for Memorial Day weekend knowing that it is supposed to rain, but we are a little sad to be foregoing our annual camping trip to the San Juans. It is always such a fun trip, but I'm not sure that 34 weeks pregnant plus rain would have been a great combination.

The boys are finishing up school in the next few weeks. Ian has preschool graduation on June 9th and Will finishes up on the 14th. After that, we're just waiting around for the arrival of our new little one. Ian really seems to be getting excited about the new baby although he is a little worried that we don't know if it is a boy or girl. He is concerned that makes it way too hard to name. He might be right considering we still haven't settled on one for a boy or girl. 5 weeks left to figure that one out!

I included a couple of my favorite pictures from the last month or so. With all the rain and cold we haven't been out doing much that is picture worthy.

The 3 kiddos all ready for Easter Sunday at Grammi's. We had a great week back east visiting family. The week was WAY too short!

Miss Delaney being sweet.

Ian at ballet following PNB's Petite Finale. The best way to watch little ones dance--short and sweet. We saw the boys class, one class of 7 year old girls and then some professional division students. Ian really enjoyed himself and did very well. I thought he might be very nervous, but he remembered all of his steps and said that he even had fun. He was less than interested in getting his picture taken, but he finally agreed to pose with the older student who helps out in his class. I couldn't convince him to go anywhere near his teacher. He has been a bit hot and cold with ballet of late so we'll see if he continues in the Fall. He really loved it until he discovered T-ball...he might just take after his dad after all. In fact, lately I find him glued to the TV anytime the Phillies are on ESPN. Mike is in his happy place watching and explaining the game.

I hope that everyone has a wonderful Memorial Day Weekend. If you're somewhere warm be sure to feel sorry for us!
