A visit from Nana and Grandaddy

Okay, so it has been over a month, but I'm on a mission to catch up. These are pictures from our Labor Day weekend with Nana and Grandaddy. We spent a day in Snoqualmie seeing Snoqualmie Falls and taking a ride on the train. This is a part of the original railroad that ran between Snoqualmie to Seattle and we rode in a car that was built in 1921. Ian enjoyed the train, but was more excited about the gift shop and its assortment of Thomas trains.

Our two "Williams" on a train ride.

William loving on Nana. He loves to give hugs and kisses (complete with sound effect...mmmmmwah!)

Grandaddy and Ian going to see the trains. Ian usually doesn't like to hold hands, but there is just something about his Grandaddy.

Looking at the water fall.

We also spent a day at the Evergreen State Fair. Ian's highlight was the tractor and he even rode some rides for the first time! Mama's highlight was eating. We have ONE picture of the whole day because shortly after this we lost the camera. Amazingly, it was turned in to lost and found and we retrieved it at the end of the day. So, no pictures, but at least we saved the camera and all the other pictures we had until that point.

Ian's "ride" on the tractor. The man at the display gave Ian a brochure with pictures of tractors which he insisted for quite some time that we "read" before bed. He still loves to look at the pictures. Who needs to spend money on books -- just send us brochures.

It was a good weekend and the kids really enjoyed seeing their grandparents. Mike and I of course enjoyed them as well and can't wait for more company. Our doors are always open.
